The Berks County commissioners’ pick for election director apparently doesn’t know who won the last presidential election (“Director of Elections Services is hired,” Reading Eagle, Feb. 4). I would think that should be one of the first disqualifiers.
She refused to answer a simple but extremely important question. It’s kind of like pleading the Fifth Amendment. Her silence speaks loudly.
