Letter: President not focused on needs of American people

Don’t you just love the finger-wagging and outrage aimed at the American people by the president? What was he admonishing us about? Oh, “you lost your child, you lost your child, he’s gone.”

Well, Mr. President, the fact is many Americans have lost their child. Just recently 13 members of our armed forces — children of legal American citizens — were lost in Afghanistan. No half a million dollar compensation for them, not that that would ever take the place of their child.

No, Mr. President, the illegal immigrants who crossed our border by breaking the law didn’t lose their children. They used their children.
