Sophia Gladieux scored the winning goal in the second overtime Sunday to lift No. 8 Penn State to a 2-1 win over fourth-ranked Northwestern Sunday at State College.
Gladieux’s third winning goal of the season capped a big weekend for the Oley Valley grad. On Friday, Gladieux scored two goals in a 4-1 conference win over visiting Indiana.
Gladieux leads Penn State (3-1, 8-2) with 10 goals and two assists for 22 points. Exeter grad Peyton Halsey started for Northwestern (1-2, 9-3).
