Quarterbacks
A: Drew Allar passed efficiently, ran and threw for a touchdown and made a couple eye-popping throws without the injured Harrison Wallace III.
Running backs
B: Nick Singleton accounted for 170 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns after he lost his first fumble of the season on the first play.
Receivers
B: Tyler Warren accounted for 109 receiving, rushing and passing yards and one TD. Fellow tight end Khalil Dinkins made a spectacular catch.
Offensive linemen
A: The blockers protected Allar and Beau Pribula and paved the way for the Lions to rush for 219 yards and 4.5 per carry.
Defensive linemen
A: Abdul Carter, Dani Dennis-Sutton and others made life miserable for Maryland quarterbacks and running backs.
Linebackers
B: Tony Rojas had an interception and the group helped hold the Terps to 72 rushing yards on 31 carries.
Defensive backs
B: The secondary played well after Maryland’s touchdown pass 14 seconds into the game, allowing no other passes longer than 16 yards.
Special teams
B: Singleton’s 66-yard kickoff return and Zion Tracy’s 11-yard punt return were encouraging, but Ryan Barker’s 53-yard field goal try was blocked.
Coaches
B: They didn’t panic after the slow start as the Lions eventually wore down the overmatched Terrapins.
