Ravens promote WR DeSean Jackson again for game vs. Broncos, place WR Tylan Wallace on IR

The Ravens elevated wide receiver DeSean Jackson from the practice squad Saturday, one of four moves made ahead of Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos.

Jackson had two catches on three targets for 74 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, including a 62-yard completion on a go-ahead, fourth-quarter touchdown drive. It was the 36-year-old’s first game since injuring his hamstring in his 2022 debut, a Week 9 win over the New Orleans Saints.

Jackson has been elevated three times this season. Under NFL rules, he would have to be signed to the team’s 53-man roster if the Ravens activate him for a fourth game, and he would be exposed to waivers if he reverts to the practice squad after such an appearance.

Defensive back Ar’Darius Washington also was promoted from the practice squad. He played 12 defensive snaps in Week 6, his lone appearance this season,

The Ravens placed wide receiver Tylan Wallace on injured reserve after the 2021 fourth-round pick hurt his hamstring in practice Thursday. Wallace (three catches for 21 yards) will miss at least the next four games, meaning he can return as early as Week 17.

In a corresponding move, the Ravens signed practice squad wide receiver Binjimen Victor to their 53-man roster. Victor played four offensive snaps in Week 9, his NFL debut.

Note: The Broncos on Saturday ruled out reserve cornerback K’Waun Williams (wrist/elbow/knee) for Sunday’s game. Williams has averaged 46.8 defensive snaps per game this season and has an interception and five passes defended in nine games (four starts).
