Route 10 in Cumru Township reopens following accident

Route 10 in Cumru Township reopened this afternoon after being closed for about three hours between Freemansville Road and Route 724 due to an overturned trash truck, according to the Berks County Department of Emergency Services.

Dispatchers put out a call for traffic control in the area around 2:45 p.m. Monday, and the road was closed shortly after. Officials announced at 5:40 p.m. that the road had reopened.
