Jan. 4:

Master Watershed Steward information session, 7 p.m., Berks County Extension, 1238 County Welfare Road, Bern Township. Webinar is free, but registration is required to receive the link to access. There is also a session Jan. 6 at 6:30 p.m.

Kutztown Area Toastmasters Meeting, 6:15-7:15 p.m., Kutztown Community Partnership, 306 W. Main St., Kutztown, or join virtually via Zoom. This club helps people become more confident speakers, communicators and leaders. More information: Erinkirb@gmail.com.

Jan 8:

Delaware Valley Golden Retriever Rescue Meet & Greet the Goldens, 10 a.m.- noon, Golden Gateway facility, 60 Vera Cruz Road, Reinholds. Come out and meet and greet the golden retrievers and dogs available for adoption. Staff is on hand to answer all questions, and food is also available for purchase. No admission charge. Jan. 8-15:

Pennsylvania Farm Show, 8 a.m.- 9 p.m., Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center, 2300 N. Cameron St. Harrisburg. Most events and activities are free. There are admission charges for the PRCA rodeos on Jan. 13, 14 and 15 in the New Holland Arena, Merry-Go-Round in the Main Hall and the butterfly house and kids’ tractor ride in the Giant Expo Hall. Parking is $15 at all Farm Show Complex-operated lots.

Jan. 9:

Strausstown Fire Company’s Breakfast, 7:30-11:30 a.m., Strausstown Community Campus, 50 East Ave., Strausstown.  A full breakfast menu will be available. Proceeds benefit the apparatus fund.
