Conrad Weiser High School to host charity wrestling event

Conrad Weiser High School will host Spotlight Slam: Students to Superstars, a charity wrestling event to benefit the school’s theater program.

The event on Nov. 4 at 7 p.m. in the high school gym will include matches featuring program alumnus “Ace Austin” Highley, two-time IMPACT! Wrestling Tag Team Champion, along with his very special guest Rich Swann, former WWE Cruiserweight Champion and current IMPACT! wrestling superstar.

Guests can also expect a full roster of professional wrestling talent, special meet and greets, and concession and merchandise sales.

CWHS Musical said in a release that it relies on the support of the local community to continue its work teaching students life and job skills via theater technique and production tasks, while fostering a strong work ethic and sense of ownership as performers and community members.

“We are excited to bring our community together for this important cause,” said Jenn Epler, fundraiser for CWHS Musical. “Ace Austin has given us the unique opportunity to entertain and engage with our community while setting an incredible example for our current students. Austin once walked the same halls and he is now living his dream, traveling and competing internationally. We are so proud of him and so honored that he chose to give back to us in this way.”
