From Kutztown University
Five students have been named finalists in the Kutztown University Business Idea Competition, which gives students from all disciplines an opportunity to develop and present their creative business ideas. The competition provides participants with valuable feedback from business professionals.
Finalists will present their business ideas to a panel of experienced entrepreneurs on Wednesday, Nov. 19, at 101 de Francesco.
Students can win cash prizes from the event, with the first-place prize amount starting at $1,000. The second-place prize is $750, and the third-place prize is $500. Submitting students retain sole property of their business ideas, which are held in strict confidence. Only the ideas of competition finalists are presented publicly.
The five finalists for the 2025 competition are:
- Dominic Lebo, a sophomore studying sport management, from Fleetwood, PA, and Carson Boyle, a sophomore studying exploratory studies, from Pottstown, PA. (Dominic and Carson are working as a team).
- Zoe Tuttle, a senior studying social media theory and strategy, from Ocean View, DE.
- Liliana Sachsel, a junior studying game development, from Waldorf, MD.
- Matt Ventura, a junior studying computer science, from Shillington, PA.
- Ethan Gallardo, a junior studying data science, from Oley, PA.
