Join the Berks County Parks & Recreation Department for its third annual Labor Day Concert. The Ringgold Band will take the stage on Monday, Sept. 2, from 10 a.m. to noon, at the Berks County Heritage Center, 1102 Red Bridge Road, Reading.
Bring your lawn chairs and picnic blankets, and enjoy their traditional band music with the background of Tulpehocken Creek and Wertz Red Bridge. The Berks County Parks & Recreation Department is pleased to present opportunities such as this one to enjoy music in our outdoor spaces.
Admission and parking are free. The Snack Bar in the barn will be open for concessions.
The Ringgold Band was formed in 1852 and is one of America’s first community bands. Their diverse concert programs include familiar classics, challenging new works, symphonic overtures, show tunes, marches, and more. Mark your calendar to enjoy this concert with us.
