The Muhlenberg Township Parks & Recreation Department is once again sponsoring the annual Temple Halloween Parade. The parade is a tradition for the Temple Community.

This year’s parade will be held on Saturday, Oct. 4, at 6 p.m., with a rain date of Sunday, Oct. 5, at 4 p.m. The parade should last about two hours. The parade will follow Sharp Avenue down to Kutztown Road, make a left and head north on Kutztown Road to Mount Laurel Avenue, make a left onto Mount Laurel, and disband at 7th Avenue.

This year, there will be judges and prizes for the best designs! Come and enjoy the sounds of several local high school bands, motorcycle groups, car groups, fire trucks from around Berks County, floats designed by local businesses, and various community youth groups. Some food vendors will be stationed along the parade route as well.
